Wedding Trends: Special Details - Wedding Chair Decorations

Looking ahead to weddings in 2021, I think there will be some fun wedding trends influenced by our collective experience in 2020. Whether you’re planning a small, intimate “micro-wedding” or a big blow-out bash once we’re all able to celebrate together again, I predict that in 2021 attention to special details will be more important than ever! 2020 has taught us all a lot about what is truly important, and what a big difference small luxuries can make.

One way I love to incorporate small, special details into my designs is through chair treatments, or, wedding chair decorations. You don’t need to add them to every chair at your event, but just a few make a big impact. At a wedding reception, you could add fresh flower arrangements to the backs of the couple’s chairs at their sweetheart table, or drape flower garlands on the backs of the wedding party’s dining chairs. During the ceremony, decorating the seats of special guests like parents or grandparents with fresh floral wreaths will make them feel welcome and honored. If you’re using acrylic or ghost chairs at your wedding, then custom decals can be playful and inexpensive additions to your decor.
