Party Rental Trends You Need to Know for 2023

We’re already hitting the ground running in 2023, and something that I’m very excited for is this year’s take on party rentals. Rentals make a client’s vision a reality and really bring life into a space, and they’re only getting better from here. You might spy some fan-favorites from last year with unexpected twists!

If you’re looking to stay ahead of the curve, here are some trends that should be on your radar in the coming months.

Patterned bar setups

Cocktail hour continues to level up every year, this time with printed bar furniture. Rather than printing hundreds of paper menus or investing in a ton of signage, we’re seeing bar furniture emerge with wallpaper-like designs that showcase their offerings.

Not only does this add to the overall theme of your event, but it’s a wonderful way to direct guests if your party has multiple interactive stations. A chic pattern with martini and olives for your cocktail station? Yes, please!

Mirrored accents galore

It’s no secret that disco balls are officially in again – clients are digging these mirrored elements and incorporating them everywhere. What was once reserved as a dance floor accessory is now multiplying and finding their way into décor and even dinner service.

A great way to make this trend unique is by utilizing disco balls in various colors such as gold or pink for added dimension. Mirrors as a whole are here to stay, so consider weaving these reflective accents into your next party (perfect for photo ops as well!). Including them in floral installations makes for a lovely backdrop, and the extra light will really illuminate the entire event.

Sustainable maximalism

Sustainability is deeply ingrained into events, now more than ever before. However, maximalism has been brought to the forefront as a design choice – think overflowing tablescapes, floral installations at every turn, extravagant seating arrangements, and the like.

Luckily, rentals are the perfect solution to create an over-the-top vibe while still being mindful of sustainability. I recommend utilizing luxe glassware and dinner-ware for your food and beverage to eliminate any single-use products that might cause unneeded waste.

There are endless ways to go off the beaten path with stylish rental trends, all while customizing them to fit your client’s dream event. Don’t be afraid to make them your own with bespoke touches!
