Private Estate Wedding, Los gatos, CA

At the groom’s parent’s home in Los Gatos, the wedding of Sarah and Jamal was a modern white and gold gala.

Playing with the architecture of the white estate with its aqua pools looking out over blue skies, we designed a reception with a hanging floral ceiling of silk wisteria that took 3 days to install. The supporting floral designs were asymmetrical arches and cascading centerpieces, and because the florals were so fundamental to the look, we kept the furniture light and easy. Adding gold to the table settings and to the floral stands created a beautiful embellishment to the color palette, while the transparent chairs melted into the background to keep the guests focused on the central designs.

As the day turned into evening, candles and soft white lighting transformed the space and the sunset cast a warming glow across the tables and dance floor.
