Space Themed "Out of This World" 40th Birthday Party
Milestone birthdays deserve a big celebration, and I recently designed a truly “out of this world” 40th birthday party for my sister-in-law, Yana. Yana has fabulous taste and amazing ideas, so an over the top, outer space themed party felt like just the right fit for a night that would be unforgettable. The party was held at the Sunset Room in Hollywood and I had so much fun transforming the space into a whole new environment. I contacted my friends that make amazing inflatable pieces, which I decided to hang from the ceiling in order to create a whole galaxy over our heads. I used tons of iridescent paper and metallic pieces to create a futuristic look. We made sure to have tons of photo backdrop opportunities for her guests so each part of the room was Instagram and Pinterest worthy.
