Color Palette Inspiration for Event Design: Pantone Classic Blue
On Wednesday, December 4th Pantone announced it’s 2020 color of the year, Pantone 19-4052 Classic Blue. In their press release the color was said to symbolize “protection, stability, peace and confidence” and went on to say it also represents “deep thinking, open mindfulness and communication”. To me, blue brings a sense of calm and tranquility and I think it’s the perfect color to be on-trend for a new decade.
I personally love working with blue hues and pairing them with warm colors like gold or cooler colors like gray or silver. I’m also a lover of layering different hues of the same color, in this case blue, when designing.
