Santa Lucia Preserve Wedding
Tiffany & Michael
When Tiffany and Michael contacted us, we were over the moon to design their destination wedding at the 20,000 acre Santa Lucia Preserve in Carmel, CA. The location features a breathtaking ceremony site in the forest among old growth trees, and the reception site is a beautiful barn with soaring, vaulted ceilings perfect for hanging floral decor.
Pinks, creams and lavender were chosen as the colors of the day. To be sure we enhanced the ceremony space without distracting from the environment, we kept the dirt aisle in place and lined it with pastel florals leading to a lovely arbor that played up the color palette.
For the reception, we hung garlands of flowers from the ceiling to draw the eye down to the dining tables and give guests a sense of being outdoors. Musicians led the couple to the reception and a VW van doubled as a photo booth to add a bit of fun. With comfortable lounge seating inside and out and a large, wonderfully lit dance floor, every guest had a place to relax and enjoy.
