Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel Wedding

The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel, has a gorgeous view of the ocean and a classic ballroom just waiting to be transformed. Inspired by Dalar’s stunning wedding gown, we knew that the indoor wedding reception should feel glamorous, with a warm, creamy color palette. With that in mind, we used multiple shades of antique white with soft bronze velvet draping on the chairs and touches of burnished gold throughout. Candlelight and soft spotlights lit up the white wisteria ceiling to seamlessly highlight her fashion and the couple’s sense of sophistication. The cake was a regal ten-tiers with a floral base and a glittering chandelier top.

To bring a lighthearted energy to the outdoor spaces and complement the natural green of the landscaping, we chose peach, pink and coral for the ceremony. Creating an altar of floral columns that reflected in the grecian pool, we introduced a touch of gold in the transparent chairs and arbor structure. For the cocktail hour we chose purple and pink, and the change in colors and design delighted guests through each stage of Dalar and Elvis’ wedding.

Dalar had been dreaming of having her romantic wedding for years, and she put her full trust in me to create it. My goal was to ensure every little detail looked timeless, and that their experience was luxurious and unforgettable.
