Romantic Outdoor Fall Wedding {Pale Pink, Emerald & Olive Green Color Palette}
For Sarkis and Nina’s outdoor wedding, we wanted to create an intimate and romantic French garden atmosphere that their loved ones would never forget. What was especially unique about this event was its alternative fall color palette - we paired softer colors, like light pink and lavender, with bolder more autumnal colors, like olive green and emerald. These non-traditional fall colors offered the perfect transition from spring/summer to fall/winter.
To accent Nina’s stunning embroidered and beaded wedding dress, I created a delicate white bridal bouquet with incredible texture and shape. It was filled with roses, ranunculus and fragrant tuberose, and surrounded by pale green greenery and blooms at its base. The stems were wrapped in a wide white satin ribbon, and I love the way it complimented Nina’s glamorous look.
Candlelight played an instrumental role in creating a warm and intimate atmosphere at the garden wedding reception. I filled the long dining tables with nude candelabras and ivory taper candles, then draped them with Italian ruscus. The greenery softened the lines and helped tie the tables in with the other floral installations throughout the reception.
I love to layer my tabletops so incorporating chargers and beautiful place settings is critical to achieving an elevated look, and that’s exactly what was done for this event. Intricately textured cream chargers and plates were layered with a pop of color (a bright olive green napkin with a soft, subtle, single reflexed rose). Emerald green and gold utensils and translucent stemware offered just the right amount of luxury when paired with the more natural hues in the white washed tables and blonde wood chairs.
Tall, dramatic floral centerpieces placed in lattice urns offered just the right amount of color to the room - I incorporated a variety of lush garden roses and spray roses in lavender, mauve and soft pinks which helped the wedding’s french garden theme to come to life.
The couple’s sweetheart table anchored the room - it was covered in abundant pale pink and lavender roses and framed by a large backdrop of roses and greenery. Rose petals and twinkling candles surrounded the table’s base.
The multi-tiered wedding cake was a beautifully crafted piece of art, towering over the couple at 7 layers and accented with soft blooms and greenery, which matched the overall design of the room.
